Exploring Arm Balances with Patty Boyle Fri, Sep 22, 2017 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Ever feel like you don’t have enough time in class to play around with your arm balances? Us too! This workshop will give you plenty of time to explore each arm balance, with finite queues, personal assistance and an opportunity to ask questions. The goal of the workshop is to make these poses more accessible and less intimidating. We’ll start with a 15-20 minute vinyasa practice to warm up the body, lots of arm balances in between and end with cool down stretches followed by a long, luxurious savasana (think hands on with essential oils). Come explore your playfulness, courage and fearlessness with these fun, challenging poses and leave feeling more confident with your arm balance practice!

The following arm balances will be explored during this workshop (time permitting); Crow, Side Crow, Grasshopper, 8 angle pose, Firefly, Eka Padakoundinyasana I, Eka Padakoundinyasana II, Forearm Stand and Flying Pigeon.

Not just for Mom!! For parents (or favorite adults) and their aspiring yogis and yoginis (ages 3-6). This class lets parents and their children move together to develop strength, flexibility and a loving bond. Expect a fast-paced class that will provide a fun learning environment and keep the childrens' attention.

Yogarama (ages 7-10) with Patty Boyle Fri, Sep 29, 2017 at 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm
This class, for kids (ages 7-10) accompanied by an adult, will blend asana (physical yoga postures), yoga games, breath work and meditation into an inspiring yoga class. At this age, class is still playful and themes remain fun while expanding into more introspective themes such as balance, confidence and strength.

Essential Oils and Yoga Workshop with Tara Roulis Fri, Oct 20, 2017 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us on a Friday evening for a yoga class designed to relieve stress infused with energy-boosting and mind-calming essential oils. Tara Roulis, RYT and Young Living essential oils consultant, will choose specific oils to complement the intention of our practice, which will focus on relaxation, self-love, compassion and acceptance. These oils are created to move stagnant energy, detoxify and relax the body, calm the mind, and restore equilibrium. The 75-minute practice, led by Tara, will start slowly with heat building and energizing poses and conclude with more yin-style and restorative poses and a guided meditation.

Class will begin with a brief introduction to Young Living Essential Oils and will describe which oils have been selected for our practice. Class will end with a conclusive talk about YLEO and a period for questions and answers. Everyone will leave with an essential oil sample gift.

Join two of your favorite tAra Yoga instructors, Tara Roulis and Patty Boyle, for a 3-night/4-day yoga retreat in Plymouth, Vermont!

On this retreat you can expect:
~ twice daily yoga classes led by Tara or Patty at the center's indoor and/or outdoor space (weather permitting), surrounded by beautiful mountainous scenery.
~ optional hikes to the tops of mountains with breathtaking views, cascading waterfalls and calming lakes;
